Responsible Pharmacist on duty

Tarndeep Singh Vaid

GPhC registration: 2202717

Independent Prescriber · Superintendent Pharmacist

What is a Responsible Pharmacist?

The Responsible Pharmacist is the pharmacist in charge of the safe and effective running of the pharmacy at any given session. Their name is displayed inside the pharmacy and on this page, in line with the Medicines (Pharmacies) (Responsible Pharmacist) Regulations 2008.

How often is this updated?

Every working day. If a locum or another member of the team is the Responsible Pharmacist for a session, this page reflects that. The most authoritative source, however, is always the printed sign at the front of the pharmacy.

Who is the Superintendent Pharmacist?

The Superintendent Pharmacist is the senior pharmacist responsible for the overall conduct of Medicine Stop. That role is held permanently by Tarndeep Singh Vaid (GPhC 2202717), who is also our default Responsible Pharmacist.
