Accessibility statement.

We want everyone to be able to use our website and our pharmacy. This statement explains where we're aligned with accessibility standards, and how to tell us if something isn't working for you.

This website

medicine-stop.co.uk is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Specifically, the site:

  • Works with keyboard navigation, screen readers and recent assistive technologies.
  • Uses sufficient colour contrast for body text and interactive elements.
  • Reflows on small screens and supports browser zoom up to 200%.
  • Includes descriptive alt text on photographs and meaningful headings on every page.

Some content, such as the Google Maps embed and the Semble booking widget, is provided by third parties. We'll always link to a non-embed alternative where we can.

Our pharmacy

  • Step-free entry from the Alfreton Primary Care Centre car park.
  • Accessible parking bays on site.
  • A private consultation room with seating for longer conversations.
  • Staff are happy to read out labels or written information on request.
  • We can arrange compliance aids (e.g. dosette boxes) where clinically appropriate.
