Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome for prescriptions, over-the-counter advice and many NHS services. We strongly recommend booking for vaccinations, travel clinics and weight-loss consultations. It lets us set aside dedicated time with the pharmacist.
Can I use Medicine Stop as a Medicine Drop collection point?
Yes. This service is completely free of charge to all Medicine Drop patients. To switch your collection point to Medicine Stop, call Medicine Drop on 01332 869299 and a member of the team will arrange it.
Do you offer NHS Pharmacy First services?
Yes. For eligible patients we can assess and, where clinically appropriate, supply treatment for seven common conditions under the NHS Pharmacy First service. Please ask at the counter or call ahead.

Medicine Stop sits within the Alfreton Primary Care Centre complex, which has on-site parking including accessible bays. The pharmacy is step-free from the car park.
